Incompetent Customer Service Relation Skills Break Promises

Between being placed on hold and calling back to get my issue resolved I spent 10 1/2 hours on the phone with many different customer service reps. Technical support caused me to loose all files on my computer. Therefore I requested they assist me in recovering my Microsoft Office 2003 edition. They refused and insisted that I purchase software that I had previously purchased from them. Finally an agreement was reached where they offered me the Microsoft Office 2007 edition at the discounted rate of $19. However, after promising the discount they failed to follow through with the promise. Not to mention, their calls are handled overseas. When I asked headquarters why not hire Americans and give jobs to Americans, it was stated it is their standards. When I expressed my disappointment that it was difficult to understand and communicate, they informed me they were saving thousands of dollars, and they didn't care about the American Economy. This I found shocking. Needless to say HP lost a customer. If anyone brings up their name in conversation I will have to express my negative experience.
