I bought a Pavilion Quad notebook in April of this year. The computer crashed a few weeks ago, and after calling customer service, I was advised to restore the laptop. Everything was lost in the process. I finally got files reloaded but discovered I no longer had access to Microsoft Office, which I purchased in April. After contacting HP last night, I was told my Office package was a "trial, " and that I needed to buy the full package. What??? I purchased it in April, the computer crashed, everything was lost so it's my fault and I have to "purchase"? After arguing endlessly with the clueless customer service rep, I gave up and hung up. This is clearly a problem on their end. My receipt shows that I already purchased the product. Shouldn't they have a record of that? I'll never buy or recommend HP to anyone.
