Netflix
Two week free trial my a$ Tannersville

Internet & Web

I now dislike netflix more than I have disliked a company before.

I had to fill out one of those online survey things to get something, "you must complete 1 offer, " and it was a free trial, so why not. I've done it before, no problems. Just sign up and then cancel.

The bad part is, you have to have a CC#. But, two week free trial, cancel right away, no big deal.

I entered my information and the site said that the information was incorrect. I fixed it and sent it again. Still, another problem. Fixed again and it was good.
Logged in, canceled the account, logged off.

Today, I get a call at 8am on my cell phone of a fraudulent charge on my account. Three pending transactions from netflix.com for 9.98 each.

I go to the website and try to figure it out. THERES NO CONTACT NUMBER!"Contact customer service, " well how in the hell do I do that? I had to google to get the number.

I called the 1800 number and talked to a gentleman who didn't know how to spell monkey or nuggets. Outsourcing, at its best. Way to go netflix. All he could do was forward my information to someone else and they could email me. They don't even have a billing department phone number for me to refute the charge. I had to call my bank and asked them to put a hold on those transactions.

Lesson well learned on my part. Even still, there shouldn't have been a charge on my card at all when it was supposed to be a two week free trial. No wonder so many people go to XXXXXXXXXX instead.
