Miscellaneous

On September 17th late at night I was on a trusted website Netflix.ca. Before I started watching a flick a screen came up saying I was selected to take part in a survey in the GTA (greater Toronto area) and if doing so I would receive an offer. Normally I wouldn't even do this sort of thing but thinking that Netflix.ca is a trusted website and that's where it came from I went ahead and completed the survey and accepted an offer to sign up for Easybreezy.com (3 day trial) and pay $1 shipping fee but after 3 days if you don't cancel after your free trial ends they would charged $113 to my credit card. On their website it says we can cancel at anytime but here is the catch we have to email them. Well I emailed the company right away as it says to do support@easybreezy.com and gave them my personal details explaining that I didn't even want the trial and to please cancel my account for the trial. I have sent them 3 emails in 24 hours and so far have got nothing back. I called my bank and informed them of the situation. I then asked if I could just cancel my card and they educated me even if I canceled my credit card they are still able to charge my account. They told me that as long as I have proof that I attempted to cancel with the instructions given MasterCard will take care of it and investigate if they do end up charging me. I just feel so stupid for falling for this crap
