Charged for free trial fraud overdraft fee

Signed up for what was supposed be a free 14 day trial yet was charged for the full amount. I called them and they said it was to verify my card and the funds will be returned. I called my card holder and they told me the funds were not released from Netflix during this time and I was trying to get my funds back and have already canceled the trial.

My electric company had tried taking their money from my account and the charge was rejected so this led to a over draft charge for a returned check. I called netflix customer service to find out why this had happened and was informed there was nothing they were going to do. I was told I should have made sure that I had the money and my bill amounts in my account so they could have pre authorized and then returned my funds.

Daddy Cline: So now i am stuck with return check fees and am very unhappy. They will not do anything to reimburse me, therefore, i have filed a report with the BBB and am awaiting an outcome. Don't rent from netflix, you will get ripped off!
