Alienware
Sent non working pc

My son bought a alienware pc which was delivered today 6/17/08 and it was not able to take it thru start up and when called tech support they couldnt do anything and could only order the operating disk which would take 3-5 days to receive. He paid 2500.00 for a paperweight. When called customer service they couldnt do anything nor could you get a supervisior. Several attempts and after being told nothing they could do to hurry up the disk arrival. I called back and did manage to get a supervisior who said he could do overnight on the disk. I let it be known how upset and disappointed in the pc.

We are waiting for the disk that he is going to have to install and then see if there are other problems with this overgrown paperweight. The supervisior after being told the problem as it would not start and had an error message saying operations are misisng cannot start. He said would get disk overnight and asked if there was any other problems and if so would trouble shoot with him. It was explained again that since it would not start how would we know if there were any other problems.
Customer service is very bad at this place and the tech support is just as bad they claim the pc goes thru 200 point check, i would think that start up is a part of that check but i guess not as it doesnt start.

Windows does not load and machine shuts off. I would suggest no one buys from alienware ever.
