They implant a virus. Usually a virtumonde. Then they send you a pop up of their product to fix it. You buy it for about 40 bucks, and then you are even more screwed because they have your credit card info. So cancel it. When you get fed up because you cant reach their customer support which is phony, you call someone else to fix it.in my case, it was GEEK SQUAD. They are great by the way! Geek squad guy will tell you that it was MALWARE ALARM that screwed you. So now you see, dont ever buy anti spyware online! It took over ten hours to fix my computer, and i paid 125 for it!
