Gary Bradfor E Bay false advertising, sold item as like new with accessories, item arrived damaged and without accessories consumer fraud ripoff

He listed a compaq IPAQ 3870 for auction on ebay, auction # is 1362453207 which concluded June 27th.

The auction claimed that the item was like brand new complete with all items originally shipped with.

I successfully won the auction and paid him using Paypal and my visa card in the amount of $497.50. He promised to ship the item the same day I paid him June 28th.

He emailed me on July 1 to tell me that he had lost the power supply for the unit and had yet to mail the receipt.in the interim, I had received an email on July 1 from Ebay informing me that he, the seller had copied the listing from someone else (another ebay seller), in violation of the terms and conditions of Ebay.

As a result, ebay had cancelled and nullified the auction and that I did not have to go through with the auction. However I had already paid. The item showed up at my office on July 5, however our office was closed and delivery was not made until July 8th.

The item arrived damaged. The clear cover for it is badly damaged. The screen of the unit is scratched. He replaced the charging unit with a very cheap replica. A warranty has already commenced on the unit, which he claimed it had not. The machine has crashed numerous times inexplicably.

I am offering to ship the unit back to him at my own expense in exchange for a full refund. He has been kicked off of Ebay and Paypal
