I have bought 2 PC's from Dell and paid through Dell Financial Services.
I am on disabillity and am trying to buy my first home but one of the requirements was that I be Debt free to get a loan for the house.
I called everyone I owed to get payoff of each one and all but Dell Financial went OK. I sold my mobile home and paid them all off.
When I called Dell Financial services I was told that the balance was $902.00, so I paid them online and printed out the receipt that said my balance was -$2.30.
The next month I received a bill that said I owed them another $105.61 so I called them and they said it was for built up interest from when I first bought the PC. Some kind of interest Free months when you buy from them. If I owed this they should have told me when I called for pay-off.
They are threatning to put this on my credit report and it will cause me not too get the loan to buy a house.
