Is a ripoff business that doesn't give a dam. They transfer funds without authorization

On May 26, a person requested $520.00 be withdrawn from my checking account through PayPal. On May 28, $520.00 was taken from my account. As per PayPal's policy, they failed to send me an e-mail notifying me of this transaction. Fortunately, I went to the bank on May 28 to make a withdrawal. I was told that I was overdrawn. When I disputed this with the bank, they gave me a print-out showing the withdrawal made by PayPal.

I immediately filed a claim with PayPal. I was told that an investigator would call me within 24 hours. I went into my PayPal account to verify my information and to change my password. My information was correct. I tried to delete all of my banking and credit card information. It would not let me delete my bank and one credit card. I then called PayPal back adn was told that the information could not be deleted because it was being held to secure the transaction. What transaction, they already had my money.

On May 30 I telephone PayPal. I was told that the money had been reversed and I would be reimbursed. Today, June 5, I telephoned PayPal to find out what the status was. I was told by a rude customer service representative that an investigator had not been assigned to my case and that I would probably not be reimbursed. Then our telephone conversation was conveniently disconnected.

I telephoned PayPal immediately. This time I was put through to an Investigator. He proceeded to tell me that it was my fault that I had my money taken that I had given out my password. I told him this wasn't so and he called me a "liar". I asked him what PayPal's procedures were regarding this type of claim. His response was that he didn't have to tell me. Needless to say, once again I was hung up on.

To date, PayPal has not answered one of my e-mails nor returned one of telephone calls. My account was fraudulently accessed by PayPal. They are responsible as they did not use any of the safe guards which they list in their User Agreement, ie: check IP addresses, e-mail confirmation of transactions. Now, they are holding my money and refusing to return it to me.
