MIS Helpers - Alchemy Network Monitor
Software does not work as advertised and company won't refund

I ordered Alchemy Network Management system to help in monitoring our network. I paid $402 up front for the software to enable all the features.

Once I paid, it took 2 days to register because the system to register would not work properly.

After registration I found that the web service does not function, does not show images. The POP3/SMTP service only works part of the time (I had to turn it off). The MSN Messenger notify does not work at all and pops up unknown error. They confirmed the error with the web service and told me it would be fixed soon. As far as the other issues they said they weren't broken but they are broken and don't work on my Windows 2000 machine.

It is 4 days later and the software still does not work and the company refuses to give me a refund.

There support I believe only checks email once per day and they are in a time zone many hours different than the US. No big deal as far as the time zone goes except they are not responsive to email and definitely not attentive to the customer.

I told them 4 different times that I simply did not have time to help them troubleshoot their software and that I just would please like my money refunded.

They have continued to refuse refund request and they have not repaired the software issues. I know longer want the software repaired and simply want a refund. I dont like the product and I dont like the support that I am receiving.

A decent respectable business will provide a refund to unhappy customers when there product does not work and the customer is not satisfied.

Luckily I paid with Paypal and Paypal does have buyers protection and I have filed a complaint with Paypal.

I would recommend staying away from this company.
