Wont pay off rebates ripoff

I bought a motherboard from tigerdirect cause it was a great deal with the rebate Machspeed was offering. This was some time in September. Waiting till december and not gettin any reply or rebate i wrote them and this is what i wrote:

We are currently not processing rebates for your month of purchase. Please note on our rebate form it states to allow 8-10 weeks from the last valid postmark date for the processing of rebates. (Please allow 8-10 weeks from the end of the promotion, which would be the 30/31 of the month of purchase. For example, if you purchased your product in August, please check back after November 1st)

I decided to wait, even if they took an extra time on getting the rebate to me. However i waited till Feb and with no reply I write them again

I have sent u a previous ticket (B0A22A) which was responded to however I have not seen any response after that.

I would like to know what I have to do to get my rebate. I have sent all the information and required documents however have not gotten any indication of the status of my rebate. I understand that it may take up to 10 weeks after the Last valid postmark which in all cases means the last valid postmark I have sent the rebate at. NOT the last valid postmark of all the people under that rebate claim.By my indications I had placed my shipment with tigerdirect on 9/18/05 and even if I had sent out the rebate later that month, in this case on oct. 05. Considering the date today is Feb of 06 it has been over 3 months and 12 weeks that I am waiting for a response and my rebate.

I would like to take this issue up with you and your company and would like to know what steps i have to take to get my rebate back. Whether it is talking to your company or tigerdirect or any other organization and website. I have done some other independent research and found that i am not the only one in this situation (http://usacomplaints.com/reports/ripoff153123.htm) (http://forums. Slickdeals.net/showthread.php? P=1047640) and other websites have seem to indicate an hesitancy on rebate issues.

NI = Missing Invoice. Our rebate form requires that you send both the invoice and the packing slip. The packing slip and the Invoice are 2 separate pieces of documentation.

Now I know I have all the copies to the documents I have sent and it seems they are missing something that I have a copy of (i made sure to make copies of all that I mailed out to them)
Seems like im not the only one - since there are others on this site also that seem to be missing *important* documents and so can't get their rebates back.

It's basicly a bait and switch move. They bait you with a great deal and rebate, and then don't mail out rebates to people that don't ask for it (since it takes so long) or the request that are asked about seem to be *missing* documents and so invalid.
