Dell allows identity theft ripoff

Dell's only concern is if they sell something. They do not verify who they are selling it to. They do not require a signature from the person who purchased it.

Dell sold a computer, printer and software to someone using my name and social security number and now wont even give me any information to resolve the matter. I have sent them police report, notes about who I have been able to talk to and a notarized affidavit and I am still only able to talk to someone in sales. They transfer me to numbers that don't exist or the wrong dept.

They have sent me to collections even though they have a fraud case number on file. This company is worthless. All I know is that I will definately be buying my computer elsewhere.
