Don't return phone calls, bad attitudes, poor customer service

I ordered a meerkat 50 SE ATV which is the "fully automatic" version of the standard meerkat 50 which is a 50cc 4-speed semi-automatic ATV for kids. The description (at the time I ordered it) said you could govern the speed down to 5 mph. Well, when you govern this ATV down to the 5 mph setting it no longer becomes an ATv it is essentially a $600,156 lb power wheels that won't even go up even the smallest hill or incline.

A friend of mine bought the 4-speed semi-automatic version of the meerkat 50. He puts it in 1st gear and then governs the speed down to the 5 mph limit and that little ATV goes ALL OVER THE PLACE! In order for the ATV (that I bought for my 5 year old son) to operate even close to how my friends ATV I have to back out the speed limiter. This needs to be done in order for the bike to gain speed and rpm's to overcome obstacles. Now I have an unsafe operating condition for my son.

To resolve this problem I called, and called, and e-mailed, and e-mailed before I finally got through to Matt in parts. I asked him if I could exchange my bike for one like my friends. He replied "maybe if I were to send it back" I checked into how much it would cost to send it back it would cost anywhere from $300 to $400. Well, that option was out then. So I called, and called, and e-mailed, and e-mailed but this time I didn't have any response. This time I was going to ask them if I could get a replacement motor 4-speed motor inplace of the automatic motor I have now. For some reason every time I would try and get a hold of someone important I was told they were in the "warehouse" and that they would give me a call back. Needless to say they never returned my calls or e-mails.

One day I asked for either Rachel (the manager) or matt and was told that they weren't available. The customer service rep (Buddy I think his name was) then asked if he could help. I explained the problem and he told me "that's just a given that the automatics don't have the same amount of power as the 4-speed models). I told him that this was unacceptable and that I did in fact need to talk to Rachel or Matt. I'm still waiting...
