Return of opened Nero software refused

I bought Nero software at Best Buy. It was on sale. I got home and decided I didn't need it. So I took it back to Best Buy with receipt and tried to get my money back. They told me no that it had been open. I did not open it in any way. Said well we can't take it back. I was mad. I said ok how about instore credit or exchange it for something else. They said no. So I suggest never to buy anything at Best Buy unless you want to be ripped off.
