Unauthorized Charges

I ordered a "free" trial and understood I would pay shipping charges. However, I was not aware that the company had placed a pending charge of $87.13 on my credit card until I called my bank to make an inquiry on a separate matter and was told this outstanding charge was on my account.

I called the 866-992-6556 number and waited for almost 30 minutes to speak to a representative. She gave me a cancellation number for my pending charge but insisted that an RMA number was not required and that I did not have to return the sample. I questioned her 3 times regarding this matter and she said I did not have to return the item. We will see. I have taken the precaution of having the bank send me a dispute form which I am filling out and returning today.By the way - the product does not work!
