January Fraud, Misleading business practice
Lawsuit: California Civil Code Section 1812.80,81, 84 & 92

Membership contract began January with a hold rate of 5.00 and a verbal promise of Gym to be completed/finished November Phase I. Swimmingpool is not finished

Gym to include swimmingpool, basketball court, large women facility, day care etc... By opening of Gym November.

Gym never opened within a year of contract date of Jan. Money deductions continued for the next 3 years. Had to cancel Account. I tried to cancel membership in many occasions to the point that I wanted to go to their corporate office... There is no corporate office just a phone number with an answering machine. And of course the gym number and they never return phone calls nor do they care always false promises.

Finally got tired of calling and going over to the gym with no success and decided to take them to Better business B, District attorney of ventura & small claims court. You need to do the same, its taken me 3 years but I am finally doing it. Make time there is many of us

This is "Gold's Gym of Oxnard" huge franchise never did I belive they would lie or Misrepresent their business or Name, or treat anyone with great disrespect, but found out there are many other consumer complaintss/fraud, poor customer service. Watch out for your account deductions they take more than you allow them too, plus use different ID store numbers..
