DECEIVING/EXTORTION CONTRACT PRACTICES:
In I made an agreement with PSI for alarm monitoring and maintenance services for 2 years.in March of I contacted PSI to cancel the contract, however they told me that I had to wait until October to even be ALLOWED to request a cancellation. For good customer service and fair practice, and they should have allowed me to at least request cancellation for the coming October, however since they would not, I had to wait.

Therefore, in October I called to cancel the contract. Customer Care asked if I would review a new contract with a monthly price reduction, which I agreed to. However, when I received the contract, I noticed that it was set up for another 2 years, which I was NOT informed of earlier and I did not, nor would not agree to.

When I called Customer Care to tell them that I did not agree to the term of another two years, and I am canceling per my original request in October, I was told I could no longer cancel because it was now past the 30 day window. This is an extremely deceiving and poor business practice. I contacted PSI several times to discuss cancellation of my contact, but I continued paying because they would not cancel and I did not want credit problems.

In January I was told by PSI that they would cancel the contract, but I will be CHARGED the remainder of the contract, which auto-renewed in November per the previous contract and I would no longer receive services.

This is totally unfair, unacceptable, deceiving, and extremely bad customer service. Suddenly now they could cancel the contract by phone, take away service AND continue to charge me at the regular rate.

Now I have been EXTORED into either paying the entire remainder of the contract (HUNDREDS OF DOLLARS) and receive NO services or be FORCED to continue with a new contract!

POOR SERVICE:
In addition, I am completely dissatisfied with their technical services. Recently, my house alarm turned on, the police were called, but nothing could be found that would have tripped the alarm. I contacted PSI to have a repair technician check the system. Days later, the PSI technician checked over the system, but couldn't find anything wrong and had no idea why the alarm went off!

He said it could have been a dirty sensor, but really DIDN'T KNOW what happened. Since I had lost two remote controls for the system and he was unsure why the system went off, he said he DISABLED all the old lost remotes so that we could be assured they would not work incase someone had stolen them. Also, he said that since he didn't have any of the right type of new remotes with him, he would be back on with a replacement remote.

The Technician never called and never came back.in the meantime, I found one old lost remote, I tried it, and it works, and per the technician, it wasn't supposed to! This means that the other lost remote works as well, and if stolen, leaves OUR HOME EXPOSED TO THEFT.

Additionally, PSI does NOT have any record of the alarm going off or dispatching the police. They only have a record of the repair technician being sent. These issues alone cause me to believe PSI is very POOR at SERVICE REPAIR and leave me totally dissatisfied with the services I pay for!

PSI has deceiving contract practices, uses extortion to keep Customer's locked in contracts, and very poor alarm services.
