HORRIBLE Customer service and delivery! - The Brick

Paid for, confirmed delivery date and no couch! Wrote them a letter, called several times, and a week later the finally write me.

I ordered a couch online and it was scheduled to be delivered today. I gave the Brick almost 2 weeks notice of the delivery date, and they agreed September 16th would be no problem. The lady who I had spoke with said the drivers would call and give an estimated time the morning of. I went ahead and scheduled the elevator for September 16th and paid $150 to my apartment building so I could have the elevators padded for my couch. When it was 11am and I still had not received a phone call for delivery, I made a call to the delivery line. I was on hold for over 20mins. When I finally did get an answer I was told the drivers had not been in contact yet and there wasn't much she could do about it. I was promised a phone call about the delivery and it is now 6:45pm on Sunday September 16th (the delivery date) and no phone call. Not to mention, I paid $99 for delivery.

I am out almost $700 for a couch for I never got. The brick has now given me the impression, that you already have my money so the service no longer matters. That is not ok. Please fix this situation, and let me know when you do so. Thanks.

I am a sales representative from the Brick and just want you to know the sofa you ordered is not yet in our warehouse.
That is why we cannot delivery it yet. It is showing us a date of Sept 24 for it to come into warehouse. If it comes in that day
then we will confirm a delivery date with you - up to that time we cannot confirm or promise you any thing.
I know is may be frustrating but this is how we have to operate to keep stock flowing.
