I had some furniture ordered back in the middle of May. I ordered a bed/mattress, futon couch, and a dresser. They told me the mattress and dresser would arrive June 4th, and the rest would come on the 18th. The mattress and dresser arrived on the promised date, but they kept postponing the date for my couch. Right now it's supposed to arrive on July 25th. While I'm pissed about that, it wasn't that big of a deal|.

Then I got a call today from them saying that the rest of my bed (which was supposed to be delivered this upcoming Saturday) would have to be postponed until the 24th or later, "whenever it's convenient for you"." I told them, "Convenient for me is this Saturday" and I proceeded to tell them how terrible their service is and cuss them out. All the woman on the phone said was, "I understand" in a monotone voice;.

I hung up and called a customer service number for the company as a whole;. The dumb broad on the phone only kept telling me the same crap and told me to watch my language'. Little hard to watch my language when I've been wanting to live in my apartment for the remainder of the summer and going into the school year but can't because of their * system! It's uncomfortable sleeping on a mattress that still has the plastic on it. I also want to invite people over to my place, but since I have to keep postponing my OFFICIAL move-in date, I have to keep postponing hanging out with them. *, I even wanted to work in the city, but it looks like that won't be happening, since I can't even stay there. Thank you, Ashley, for making me miss out on earning some extra cash and having to wait even longer to live in my own place and be with friends and my boyfriend. *.

Once my mother (who charged the furniture on her credit card for me) gets home, I'm going to tell her that we should both complain and demand a discount because they made a promise and weren't able to keep it. The store I went to had nice furniture, but it's a * shame that they try to keep it from you as much as possible. I will never get anything from them again, and I even told them over the phone that if anyone ever asks me where they should buy furniture from, I would tell them, "Not Ashley."

All I can say is that if they postpone delivering my stuff ONE MORE TIME, I will be laying it on them, and I won't be watching my language on purpose. I start school at the end of August, and if it's not there by then, the * will REALLY hit the fan.
