Shady Warranty

I purchased $11,000.00 in furniture on May 19th from Ashley Furniture in Sawgrass Mall. I purchased a king bedroom suite and mattress for my bedroom.in 2009 my husband and I were asleep when all of a sudden the side rail board broke loose from the frame and then the whole bed fell in rails bent and all. We contacted Ashley's customer service to report the damage as well as to report the mattress being uncomfortable and was told that a rep would come out to evaluate the matter.
Okay this is where the BS starts! The rep enters our bedroom and stands in the doorway and tells us that because there is no visible damage to the mattress they would not replace it. As for the bed, we had to call customer service and report it because he did not handle that. We contacted customer service and was told that the bed frame and rails were on back order and as soon as they arrived to the warehouse we would be contacted. Months go by and of course no call. I then called again and was told the items were still on backorder and there could be no exchange for another suite. Meanwhile, we are sleeping on our floor waiting for the repairs.in 2010 we still have no bed and now 20011 we still have no bed. My husband and I decided we would take the credit from not using our warranty to purchase another bed but to our surprise Ashley Furniture tells us on May 23rd that we will not be getting the refund because the rep who came to our home for the mattress counts as a service on the warranty plan. Might I add the mattress had its own warranty separate from the home repair warranty we purchased. Now all we have is a broken bed that Ashley Furniture never repaired or replaced and an uncomfortable mattress that has us tossing and turning all night long.
