The return policy is lousy at home depot brought a canopy for my back yard and then it just tore so I decided to take it back. The process should be easy since it had warranty and only had it for a short period and the answer was to take it down during windy days really its stationary idiot The return managerr has only one thing on his mind to avoid customers from returning items. Took back a weedeater thats shows 3 years warranty on the box so I took it back for exchange and question was do you have a reciept and said no but look it up on my Home depot account that should give you a purchase date. No luck since we have change account numbers die to lost card so they were not able to exchange and I was required to go on line to input data so warranty can be valid so if you dont have a computer skills though luck. I will close my account since everything I buy has no return policy and they make you feel like a convict later home depot!
