Delivery Delays and Refusal to Reschedule a $1800 Refrigerator

I have had trouble with delivery from Home Depot twice. The first time I was told a product would be here in 2 weeks. It was more than a week late. When I called to find out information, they would tell me whatever they thought I wanted to hear: it will be here in 2 days, then in 2 days it will be here on Friday, etc.

I called Customer Service, and they called the store and called me back and had the nerve to tell me it will be here on Friday. They would say anything to get me off the phone, whether it was a lie or not. Just tell me when it will be here. 4 weeks? Fine. I won't expect it for 4 weeks.

I just ordered a refrigerator ($1800.). An unexpected obligation came up on my delivery date, and they will not work with me. Too bad for me if an emergency came up; they have their money.

I should have learned my lesson the first time but thought I would give them a second chance. There will not be a third, and if Lowe's can get me a refrigerator Friday morning, I will cancel this order.
