LG Appliance Suite Delivery Delayed Until February 24

On November 19, my husband and I purchased an LG suite of appliances: a French door refrigerator, a smooth top oven, a dishwasher and a microwave. Once we proceeded to purchase, we were informed, "Oh, we're out of stainless steel." The delivery date would be February 1. Since we were redoing our kitchen, we decided to go ahead with the order. The Friday before our scheduled delivery date, we had a message from LG that the delivery would be delayed until February 16. I called the toll-free number today and was told by a computer that our order would be delayed until February 24.

I have been a Home Depot customer since I first went into one in Atlanta in the early 80's. I will NO LONGER be a Home Depot customer. This is totally not acceptable. Were it not such a good deal we got, I would go get my money back tonight and buy everything somewhere else. Perhaps HD would like to pay the difference! Yeah, right.
