Hello, I have always loved Home Depot - like a kid going to a candy store. Over the past 10 months I have completely rehabbed a house in Rancho Bernardo, CA shopping at Home Depot on Carmel Mountain Rd., and spent approx. $28,000 there. Several of the folks there recognize me when I come in and say hello because they have helped with projects, and I can name you the nice, helpful people by name - love that! Over the past few months, there is a strange rude solicitation of customers in the store by H.D. Personnel. They have "literally chased me down the isles" to ask me if I want a free estimate on things. It now is happening an AVERAGE OF 2-3 TIMES PER VISIT TO THIS STORE. Last week the same person approached me twice within 5 min. To ask me the same thing, after being told no, and tonight I was approached 3 TIMES by people asking if I wanted free estimates on everything from kitchens, to heating (that lady was actually rude), to windows, etc. Please carmel mountain rd. HOME DEPOT-STOP HARASSING YOUR CUSTOMERS! When I go there for a paint brush, I don't want to get chased down the isles by aggressive employees asking me multiple questions wanting me to get estimates on baths, heating, etc... You are literally running off your customers-why would you choose to do that?
