TV upgrade scam. - Sharp Quattron 70" LED TV

I purchased a TV with what they claim has a Faroudja upgraded chip running at 480 Mhz.
I placed an order online and a sales rep calls saying that there is a new upgrade and if you'd like to have this order changed. Believing that he is selling a better product you would agree (up to you) and for an additional $460 you would get this.

Turns out that after receiving the TV all there is to try to show the upgrade is a stamp on the box that says "Faroudja" and they open the TV back panel and stick a silly sticker to make it look like it is an upgraded TV, but in fact, Sharp has confirmed that they do not make such product and that tampering with the internal components will void your warranty.

I'm in the process of filing a claim with small claims court to get me a refund for the fake upgrade and to make sure that the warranty is covered by these people who tampered with the product.

So watch out, there are thieves out there looking to scam you out of some cash and risk it all for it. Sad little thinkers.
