Laptop Screen Repair Denied After Two Weeks Despite Warranty Confirmation

When I purchased my laptop I purchased the extended warranty. Recently the screen broke and I called the 1 800 number. I was told that my laptop was covered under the extended purchase warranty and to bring it into a Best Buy store. When I arrived at the Best Buy store located in ST. Oeters, MO., it was again confirmed that a replacement screen was covered under the warranty. Two weeks later when I returned to pick-up the laptop I was told that the repair to repair the screen exceeded the value of the computer. And by the way your laptop is not covered under the extended warranty. Bottom line I will never ever do business at Best Buy again and I will spread my story wherever I can!
