Very poor customer service

Electronics and household app.

Very poor customer service. I was told by a department manager that I could receive credit toward a defective item after giving them some confidential information over the phone. I explained to her that it was a gift I received just over 3 months prior. When I went back to do the transaction I was told flatly and by the store manager that he could not do this. He also made a sarcastic comment to me in front of many customers. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL! I called Corporate regarding this situation and was told that after 30 days, nothing is returned. What type of customer service is this! This company will not see my business again!
