Store Refused Military Card Discount and Humiliated My Wife

Electronics and household app.

My wife has used my military card many times at this store, and all of a sudden this has become an embarrassing issue. She was told she could not use it even if I were to say so in a letter or phone conversation, whatever the reason. She was humiliated in front of her brother and sister-in-law, as if she were trying to collect funds from them fraudulently.

They made her feel ashamed that she is my wife and has to do the shopping for me, as I am not able to get around. I am 100% disabled and need her help in everyday tasks. She is my caregiver, and I depend on her for everything. They insulted me and her, and I feel they need to apologize to her and to me, as well as to all military personnel.

This is only a 10% discount, and they make it seem like the money was coming out of their pocket. I live on a fixed income, and this is a very small part of me being able to feel a bit independent in doing something productive. They made me feel ashamed to be a veteran, and that is wrong in more ways than I can explain. To make my wife go through the humiliation of standing there and being degraded because she is trying to save us a few pennies is ridiculous. I am insulted, to say the least. This policy needs to be changed, and they need to correct a terrible wrong. Thanks for listening.
