Don't know false advertising

I noticed advertisement on internet for direct tv stating first 12 months for $29.99 per month, free installation plus a $100 prepaid visa card, when I signed on the service and tried to redeem my rebate they stated, not available in your area, however we can offer you a $26.00 per month credit towards your first 12 payments bill. OK I'm good with that, So if you do the math my bill should be $3.99 per month for first 12 months. No telling what will occur in months 13-24.
First bill arrives and it is $38.06 I call and emailed seeking an explaination, they have a electronic phone as their gatekeeper, when I finally spoke to a human being she was simply clueless (well trained), stated oh no sir you just don't understand. I signed up for EFT well I immediately rebuked that privelege to direct tv. I was thinking I'd just pay monthly the correct total of $3.99 until the turn me off.
This is clearly a corrupt company needing some severe monetary punishment as an example not to try to rip off the American consumer.
