I signed up for a bundle package online with qwest in November. I then called the company to make sure everything was correct. I spoke to a young lady named casey. She told me everything was correct and quoted me a price of 119.30 per month. I recieved my first bill in December for 294.88, I called and ask why the bill was so high. They said that was cause it was prorated and installation charges and other charges the next will would be a lot lower. Never once was anything about going online to recieve a $18.00 rebate mentioned to me.

On January 29th I received another bill from Qwest for 166.76. I called Qwest again to see why still the bill was so high. I spoke to a young man named Jason, he ask me did I do the online rebate to receive 18.00 off my bill for 12 months. I told him no, I didn't know I had to do that. He then told me to go online to Directtv.com. I went to the site, but couldn't get any help there. I then called Direct tv, I was informed that I had 60 days to complete the rebate, I was a week late. He said there was nothing they could do about it. He said Qwest should have informed me of the rebate, when I said they just told me today. He said its too late we can't do anything for you.

I called Qwest back and told them I didn't think it was fair, that I should have been informed about this sooner, they referred me back to direct tv, who again told me there is nothing they can do about it. I called Qwest back again, and again they put me through to direct tv, and again they said they couldn't do it, its too late.

I don't think this is fare. I signed a 2 year agreement with Qwest, thinking I was getting the first year for 18.00 off my bill. Now I am stuck paying an extra 216.00 I had no planned on. The only reason I signed up was to get the $18.00 off my bill for the first 12 months.
