Akai not only makes crap TV's, they have NO SUPPORT. You call the Akai US tel # and if you get a human, they tell you that they are Samsung and don't support Akai TVs. On their automated "Find a repair place" line, they list places that don't repair Akai TVs. Customer support gave me another number to call, where you get a recording that says, "This is an unmonitored line, " and refers you to another number that is a recording that says to leave a message and someone will get back to you. Akai does not respond to their email either.
