Don't buy Akai TV - LCT2701

I bought an Akai lct2701 last year and now it's power is not working - locating their customer service number is frustrating: 401-658-4032 referred me to Akai USA 800-726-4405 but it's "not monitored" so you get referred to 216-454-0866, who refer you to 888-498-7278 who refer you back to 216-454-0865 who tell you (after holding for a long time) that they cannot sell you the part - and the motherboard is "obsolete". They tell you to order the part from the authorized repair place (not listed on akai website and does not come up on google) but the repair place says they will not order it.
Summary? DO NOT BUY AKAI TV - there are mor reliable products with good service centers.
