Poor knowledge and service at Best Buy

Had the most unpleasant experience with the local Best Buy. Went in *with the manual to my computer* to get a memory upgrade. Read the specs right from manual to the employee as the case was unlocked by someone else. Got home and found it was the wrong memory. Went back and tried to get the right memory but the guy unlocking the case gave me a hard time about not knowing what I wanted despite again *having the manual right in my hand* and reading the specs. Pointed out part of the problem was having the RAM (some of which was only $50) locked up and that I was irritated because I had wasted time because one of his fellow employees didn't know what they were doing.

He then refused my service before even unlocking case and claimed he was the manager despite having an unkempt appearance and being dressed in the same uniform as the regular employees. Considering that I am hyperkinetic (modern term ADHD) refusing service due to a federal recognized disability is questionable at best but then he claimed at the refund desk that "I nearly ran over a little kid" was inexcusable.

When you read the specs of what you want right from the manual and they still get it wrong you have what kind of blundering incompetents do they hire at Best Buy these days.
