Geek Squad Blamed Windows Software for Printer Driver Conflict

Electronics and household app.
I went to the store in question on Dec, 30th 2008 to purchase a printer and a Hard Drive. After I got home I tried it all out and the hard drive was fine but the printer would not print using the cable. It would only print using the wireless card. So I took it back 2 hours later and had them look at it. The dude looked at it for about 50 minutes and told me my software that controls my ability to install and use a printer was defective (the software that comes within windows) and so I exchanged it for a different one so I could avoid the 30 dollar service charge, if it's a hardware problem its free if not I would have had to pay.
So I took it home and for awhile I never figured it out until I get a system message from Dell telling me that my usb audio driver could prevent a printer from working on usb. So I follow the directions to uninstall the driver and the printer works instantly like a charm. So I will be sure to never use Geek Squad's services again.
