30-day TEST DRIVE NOT HONORED, we are forced to pay for bad service -Texas

We were fed up with TMobile, and its daily dropped calls, (my husband is an over-the-road truck driver) so we decided to do the 30-day test drive with Verizon, who claim "try us for 30 days and if you dont love us, cancel and we'll pay for your calls"... We started having same dropped call problems, and I kept calling and complaining to Verizon, their solution: turn off phone for 30 sec in every town entered, to get better signal... Thats the same solution I got from TMobile, but we decided to give VERIZON a chance... There were too many dropped calls, so we decided to port out 7 days before our test drive expired, which was Christmas week, I called almost every day that week to make sure the porting out was doing ok, I was always assured it was... I had my new service and phone with AT&T by end of December...

I have internet broadband service with them also, so I keep getting my monthly bills and I'm being charged for my calls from Nov-Dec and Dec-Jan... I spoke with ERICKA LEE in the financial dept and she said I ported out until Jan 15 and therefore do not qualify for 30-day test drive, I argued that I had service with another carrier since end of Dec, so Verizon "kindly and generously" waved my cancellation fees, but they say I still owe on the calls... And said my broadband service would be interrupted if I didnt pay... I spoke again with ERICKA LEE, and she told me it actually takes 2 billing cycles to credit accounts, she said on my March bill I would see the credit for the calls, but guess what, I got my April bill and I still owe those calls and now my broadband service is interrupted, which is no big deal since the service sucks too, but the bad thind is I owe them for giving me bad service...
