Ripping me off. They told me that they were going to transfer my 74.00 dollar balance and they haven't

About 5 weeks ago I broke my cell phone so I went out and bought a new one. I contacted Verizon because I had a balance of 74.00 dollars. I was asked what my old number was, and the password. I was told you are all set.

A few days go by and I look in my e-mail and I recieved an e-mail from this guy Richard stating that I need to send my old number, the password and then the new number and the password and as soon as he has that he can transfer the balance. So, I did just that.

A week went by and nothing so I contacted them via e-mail and I get an e-mail back a few days later. This time it is from a different person asking me to send them my old phone number and the password. I did just that. A week goes by and I get another letter asking me to send my old phone number and password and then we can go ahead and make the transfer of the balance.

My wife decided to call and she spoke with this girl April and she spent a hour on the phone with her. April had told my wife that it usually takes 72 hours but becuse it is Friday it will take 3-5 business days. Here it is going on week two and nothing.

I guess I will keep Verizon for about another month and drop them like a bad habit. My wife having experience in sales always says that the best advertisement is word of mouth in this case we will let everyone know Verizon can not be trusted.

The sad thing about this is I work hard for my money I don't sit back and make my money by cheating. Verizon Corporation is so bis that 74.00 dollars really isn't alot but I guess when you start adding up all the money that these thieves have stolen from people like myself it does begin to add up and then they get greedier.
