Virgin Mobile took my money and then shut off my phone! Completely unethical company!

Electronics and household app.

On December 27 I paid Virgin Mobile online for one month of service (the cheap $25 plan for 200/500 day/weekend minutes). They charged my credit card two times, and when I called the company to dispute it, the person I talked to told me to have my bank get the charge back.

So that's what we did.

Fastforward to Jan 27, I upgraded to the $35 plan and mid February had about 900 minutes left (which were due to expire on Feb 27)

Well on Feb 17, out of nowhere, my phone was shut off!

When I called the company, they said it was because my bank retrieved that extra $25 charge. They basically thought I was stealing money from them. When I told them that it was an extra charge and they told me to do it, they said I was not supposed to do that (even though they told me to). They said to return the charge and my phone would be restored within 24 hours.

Well, it has been almost two weeks. Today the person I talked to said that they are waiting for notification from the bank that the money has been sent back (the money that THEY owe ME). However, the person my husband talked to yesterday and the day before said that they already had the notificationWell they HAVE that notification, as the money has been returned.

I called and every day they say the same thing. Its gonna be 24 hours.

I just asked to speak to the supervisor and was on hold for so long that my phone died. When I called back they hung up on me after I asked to speak to the supervisor.

Not to mention that but my calls are going to Malaysia or India or god knows where. I have not been able to get a hold of ONE person who can fix this issue.

I cannot believe that this is legal. They flat out took not only the extra $25 charge, but also 3/4 of the leftover minutes I had for February! They STOLE my money!!
