IHeater Rip-off

As a previous consumer - I also bought an iHeater of the internet - after placing the order I called the company and asked for a invoice and a written warranty - (I had signed up and paid for a 3 year warranty $ 39.95). I was told that they are not sending out ANY paperwork, the credit card statement would be the invoice. A little red light in my head came on! Well, after receiving the unit I placed it in an 18 x 24 room (432 sq/ft) and waited for the room to get warmer - after 3 days running neither my wife nor I noticed any change. I call the companies 800 # and was promised a new unit after I had returned the "defective" one. After about 10 days the "new" unit arrived -now an ugly totally black box, instead of the prevuious faux wood box. What can I say? The "new" unit did not fair any better. So, again I called and was offered a "bigger" unit. I told them that I wanted to return the unit for credit upon which I was told that the company has a no refund policy. I answered that I never heard of such an policy, nor was that mentioned on the company website and that would I have known I never would have placed the order. I was told to call headquarters, which I promptly did, ofcourse I was not able to talk to someone and left a message. I day later Mr. O'Brian returned my cal and also explained to me that the company has a no return policy. I again refered to their website citing that there was no mention of that policy and because of his abresive response I threatened with a disute claim, upon whic he replied - we will counter your claim etc. I am now looking into filing with a small claims court.
