Ripoff to the end

After I signed up for Direct TV is when the ripoff start. The Direct TVwas for 4 rooms 29.99. After the instaleer should up he wanted another $129 to add a slpitter if I want 4 rooms. After it was installed Direct Tv adde NFL channels and started sharging me for them. I never sigened up for this nor wanted it. It took three month and me threatning to put the stuff in my driveway and pick it up before they took the charges off.

Over the last two years the service has been horrible. So when my two year contrat was up I canceled and returned the recievers at the end of august. Over two months after the return I get a call from a collection agency that says I owe Direct Tv $200 for the boxes that were not returned. The collection agent became very abusive (we will put this on your credit rating if you do not pay me now) after I told him he was not getting any money and that the boxes had been returned.

Direct Tv could not add the $200 charges to my credit card because I canceled it. What a losy company. If anyone out there is considering cancel Direct Tv and you send the boxed back, make sure you keep the tracking number which I did.
