Company policy is to charge a restocking fee for damaged merchandise

We purchased a $400 camera only to find it was broken inside the box.cc said they would replace it but it would take 4-5 weeks. Too long to wait, so we asked for a refund and they withheld 15% of the purchase price because the box was opened! This is a ripoff because they probably do restock damaged merchandise and sell it to some one else, just like me.

How are you supposed to know its broken until you open the package. (competitor's name redacted) has no such policy. Since then I have purchased over $3000.00 on new TV's and a sound system from. I wouldn't think of buying anything fron Circuit City again. Now you can see why the are going under.
