Son's Account Paid With My Debit Card, $228.52 Taken

DirecTV used my debit card for a large amount of money to pay off my son's account. He was the subscriber to DirecTV, not I. I had called in a payment a few times to help him out, and they had my card number and used it when my son had his account closed. I had called them to make arrangements for him to pay off the account, but they said no payments. He closed his account because he is on a low fixed income.

I feel they wrongly used my debit card for that payment of $228.52 without contacting me. I have overdrawn my account and bounced checks that I have to take care of with my bank. I made many phone calls to DirecTV and got nowhere until my daughter called and spoke with Pam, badge #100148055, a billing specialist, who admitted that DirecTV was wrong in taking the money from my bank.

She gave us this information to further my complaint, and I am hoping you can take care of this, please. Just for the record, I was so upset about this happening to me that my blood pressure was so high I was in the emergency room at the hospital over all this. Not that that matters to anyone, but it is very upsetting. I am also on a fixed retired income monthly, and it has really put me behind on some of my bills.
