On, or about a year ago direct t.V. Was setting up new service at my sisters home. She did not have a credit card to set up the initial installment, the representative with direct t.V. Said that if i would agree to let them use my card number as a one time use only they would begin setting up her service. I asked several times if my card would only be used for this one charge and i was assured every time, very nicely, that direct t.V. Could not keep my account number on file. My sister did not have a checking account so she told the rep. That she could send the monthly bill into the company by money order. At no time did i ever make a payment on this account using my bank card that should not have been kept on file past the initial set up fee. On march 4 direct t.V. Took the above stated amount out of our account without any authorization by me or my husband whose name appears on the same account. This withdrawal has caused a great hardship on us as my husband is on disability and the amount withdrawn was almost his entire check. We do not have a way to put back the money that i believe was taken out illegally and we still have bills to pay. We have direct t.V. Since2010 and i would not want to think that your reps. Would say or do anything to get new service. I would appreciate this matter being taken care of as fast as direct t.V. Saw fit to take the said amount off a card that should never have used but for the one time set up fee 'per the direct t.V. Rep.
