I bought a dryer from best buy in we had a lot of problems with it so when the extended warranty was offered we bought it. Last Monday 3-10-08 I called, my dryer was working but it squeeled and was running loud. I took the day off and they sent a tech out (the tech for this area was sick, they sent someone else) on Friday. Oddly enough the dryer still squeeled. Now the drum doesn't even turn. I called again, a tech will be there tomorrow, took the day off. Again, by 9 am. No call. I had to call to find out the tech is still out sick, we will rescedule you. Guess what no one in their right mind is going to take 3 days off to get a dryer fixed!!! Why wasn't I called that the tech was out? Oh, and it took 15 min for the appliance specialist to find the dryer today, it was under the wrong area code, why didn't any of the other specialists mention or fix this? Now I have been on hold for over an hour with different areas of BBY to get someone out today. Judy the supervisor for the scheduling was extremely unhelpful. To the point of being rude. What is the point of a service contract if the item is not going to be serviced correctly the first time. 3 appointments, seriously!!
