No Dell warranty on store-bought desktop, extra warranty needed

Bought a Dell desktop computer in May had 2 problems with this. Found out Dell does not offer any warranty with this since it was bought at Best Buy. Could not get any tech support until we purchased approx. $200.00 of in home extended warranty. Geek Squad were "not allowed" to discuss anything over the phone with the cheaper extended warranty. Best Buy did not advise us there would not be any warranty from Dell. Found out the hard way. Do not make the same mistake.
