Lied, Deceived and Left Me Screwed Internet

I was a former AT&T wireless customer. When Cigular and AT&T merged, my cell phone reception on the AT&T network went from crystal clear to constant static and cut off calls while in my home. I was assured by the Cingular Rep it was because I was on the "old AT&T network" and I should re-sign up with the Cingular service so I could be switched to their new network. I asked if I would be able to get reception (I'm not much of a phone techy, I just want to make and receive calls as I had in past).

So, I bought her line and signed up with Cingular to be on their network and clear calls. I ended up having to sign up for a 2 year contract, buy a new phone, and, ironically enough, my bill had gone up from this as well. Well, here I am eight months later and I still don't have reception in my home.in fact, it's worse. I immediately called Cingular the day I switched to complain about the reception, but low and behold, would only get disconnected while trying to contact them.

I finally spoke with a Customer Service Rep and asked if I could be waived out of the $175 early termination fee because I just signed up and I'm experiencing the same issues. A friend of mine has crystal clear Verizon reception in my home - so figured I would start a service there. I was told no. And, I'm not eligible for an upgrade for many more months (not that it would matter). Don't go to CINGULAR. They lie, deceive and their service is terrible. Least dropped calls of any network?

Well, I will tell you they earned that title because they don't register the dropped calls on the bill. I mean, who makes seven straight 1 minute duration calls? Someone who gets disconnected! But on the bill it doesn't say dropped. Cingular - you are the worst of the worst.
