Electronics and household app.
An 800.00 Flat Panel TV was purchased at Sears in Quincy the day after Thanksgiving. TV was ordered and would be available for pick-up in a few days. TV came in approximately a week later and was picked up 2 or 3 days later.
TV was not opened until Christmas Eve as a gift.
Channel Programming did not work along with a few other glitches.
We called the manufacturers number in the manual and they said to take it back to Sears to have it replaced.
At the begining of January TV was boxed up and took to the store but they refused to take it back because 30 days had passed since the TV was purchased. It was a Sunday, so we were told to call the Service and Repair number, but they were not open that day.
Went and talked to some kind of manager before we left who DID set up an appointment to have the TV looked at.
Appointment was for 3 weeks later. When the service man came he said he didnt even know Sears sold this brand of TV, he had never seen it before. He ordered some parts and set up a new appointment date to come back and repair the TV.
The parts never arrived a month and several appointments later. I had spent many hours in total talking with repairs and services setting up appointments and checking on parts that "should be arriving any day".
They refuse to replace the TV but they have no way of fixing it either!!!
