No Coverage Despite Tower and Roaming Promises

When we renewed our contract with T-Mobile we asked them to check an address for coverage and they did. They said that I would at least be able to roam and they were going to put a tower there in the next few months with these new phones.

I took my phone down to the place needing service and it said no service. I tried doing a manual roam like suggested and it failed. I know Cingular has GSM in this area, full service and I couldn't use it. I called back and the rep said, oops I guess we don't have any roaming agreements!

I tried to cancel but they wouldn't let me so I contacted the BBB and they finally let me cancel no charge.
Always double check with T-Mobile before you sign up.
