Verizon Wireless
Exposed to Liquid Rip Off Scam Nationwide

Electronics and household app.

Verizon Wireless is manufacturing shotty defective wireless phones and then using the "exposed to liquid" scam when consumers attempt to get a refund or replacement phone. They attempt to back up this fradulent practice with something about an indicator that turns red.

For all we know these phones could be manufactured to turn red upon any type of malfunction as opposed to liquid exposure.

On 11/5 I took advantage of my upgrade option and upgraded to a Verizon Wireless Motorola E815 digital phone. I used it all of two weeks. The phone powered down one day and never powered back up.

Yesterday, 12/6 I went to get a replacement phone and they gave me that line about the red indicator and exposed to liquid. My phone was never near ANY liguid. This is a verizon wireless rip off scam. DO NOT BUY ANY VERIZON WIRELESS MOTOROLA wireless phones as they will attempt to use this red indicator BS when the equupment malfunctions - and malfunction is inevitable if after only two weeks my phone completely died.

Verizon Wireless had the audactity to offer me a 25 percent discound on a repurchase of this same phone which retails for close to $300. I am going to the public utility commission, Better Business Bureau and some type of ethics committee that must exist for fraudelent engineering claims such as this red indicator BS.
