Denied Credit Card Over Unknown $20 Delinquent Account

I was recently denied a credit card due to a delinquent payment on an account. I thought that was very strange, since we had recently purchased a new home and I was told I had one of the highest (best) credit reports ever seen.

I obtained a copy of my credit report and saw the negative item was from a BP/Citi company. I had never heard of this place... It stated I owed them $20.00 for the last 120 days.

I researched the internet for this company and discovered the rip-off site. I will be calling the credit report company and probably the Better Business Bureau to see what can be done...
